The Island Blue Hotel (Seogwipo, SOUTH KOREA)

Another day, another hotel in Jeju. Tonight we will be staying at The Island Blue, a 4-star hotel in the southern side of the island. We all know about the star rating in Jeju by now so I already asked everyone to temper their expectations accordingly.

One thing I did notice when we were doing our check-in was the fact that they have removed the wordings of "Hotel and Resort" from their logo on the wall. I really don't know what that means. Has the hotel been downgraded based on the unavailability of certain facilities? Anyways...

The lobby looks clean and tidy. That's always a good sign. Let's hope the room has the same level of cleanliness (unlike what we've seen from Brown Suites Hotel and Resort the night before).

The first thing that caught our eyes was the amount of space in our family room. It's BIG.

And most importantly, unlike last night's room, the layout was a lot more user friendly. We were able to lay our luggage down much easier and our little nugget got so much more room to run around with.

There were enough benches around to put our stuff on and that's always important when you have kids.

Toilets were clean and no ants this time around (little one was disappointing).

A separate shower room next door.

The hotel was doing a summer promotion during our stay. Free beer at the lounge right from the tap (self-service). This was taken before dinner so it was still a little early for alcohol but as soon as we came back from dinner, the lounge was packed. I bet every hotel guests were there.

One last shot of our room before we packed up and say goodbye to The Island Blue. Thank goodness, we finally got some sunshine this morning!
