This is a personal blog intended to share our gastronomic diary from around the world. The views and opinions expressed are presented in good faith and are strictly our own based on personal experiences. 

No rating system is considered flawless. But our aim is to separately weigh our overall dining experience from the food rating -

(1) Overall dining experience, out of 5 stars with 5 being the best from a combination of factors including vibe, ambiance, service and food. 

(2) Food rating, one that is strictly valued from a culinary standpoint, measured out of 10.

Food Rating

Among the best in the world. Design and execution totally out of the world. A definite must for anyone interested in a sensational culinary journey.

Top of the class techniques with extraordinary food combinations. Demonstrated flawless execution and "Wow" factor throughout the meal. Solid 3 Michelin star cooking.

Exceptional cooking, with mind-blowing and highly ambitious ideas. Solid 2 Michelin star cooking.

Excellent techniques and ability to be innovative/ambitious with ingredients. Showed an element of excitement. Solid 1 Michelin star cooking.

Quality cooking with certain degree of ambition. Demonstrated slightly innovative food combination.

A capable professional kitchen with fundamentally sound technical skills. Demonstrated some creativity in choosing out the ingredients. However, still enough room for improvement.
