After spending a brief moment at The Hyundai Seoul, everyone was starting to get a little hungry. I thought we were at a very nice spot here with such an amazing food hall but we had a hard time finding ourselves a table (anywhere) and so, we wounded up taking a short walk over to the connecting IFC Mall in hope to find a little more space and privacy.
The plan was obviously working well as there were only a few souls around the IFC mall. Since we already decided that we would be devoting this afternoon to some of our old favorites in Seoul, we wasted no time stopping by Baek Mi Dang (百味堂), our favorite ice-cream parlour in the city first.
Everyone found something s/he liked. Mom made a peculiar move by ordering a cappuccino at an ice-cream shop while little nugget who has been under the weather for the last little while, went with his favorite milk soft serve.

Milk soft serve – Baek Mi Dang's signature milk soft serve was again very very silky today. It's been a while since little nugget had this so needless to say, he was a happy camper.
I still remembered when Baek Mi Dang first opened in Hong Kong. It created such a buzz around town and well on its way to become the talk of the town. At one point, they had 9 branches around Hong Kong but only to take a serious hit during the pandemic. Now, I thought most if not all of their branches in Hong Kong already closed down. Sad~
Soy milk soft serve – This was noticeably less sweet than the milk soft serve but equally frosty and milky. Not bad.
Jelloman and I saw this poster about their promotional items and decided to ask our servers what flavor it was. At first, we had a tough time understanding each other but after some hard work, (and with help from our smartphones), we finally found out what it was – mugwort (艾草).
And the ladies here were very kind to give us a complimentary mini soft serve with mugwort juice to try too. Very nice of them!
Now that we've checked our favorite Korean ice-cream shop off the list, it's time to visit our favorite mille crepe cake.
