The Stand Donuts was the first shop we saw after taking the escalator up from Le Pristine. Since I'm planning to do a piece on Tokyo's top doughnut shops, I figured we should take five minutes out of our shopping time for a quick visit.
A closer look revealed that they are more than just a doughnut shop as they also offers a small selection of hot dogs and ice-cream.

I'm just going to check out their donuts with custard cream this time around.
Custard cream doughnut (380yen) – An old fashioned custard cream doughnut fits me just fine.
This combines a crispy, craggy-textured exterior with a rich, creamy custard filling. Pretty nice.
While I was enjoying my doughnut, the four of us also took the time to walk around Toranomon Hills Station Tower.
I still remembered this area was just a massive construction site during our last visit so it’s really incredible to see how it has transformed into such a vibrant communication, business and lifestyle hub now.
