After spending an hour walking around Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza, it was time for me to head back to the ski ground and pick up little nugget for his meal break.
Since there were limited dining options at the shopping plaza, we decided to secure a table as soon as possible and Premium Pota Pasta Caffe Resort was the first restaurant we came across with an available table for us.
Linguine tossed in creamy sea urchin sauce. one of the rare times I didn't enjoy this combination. While the sauce was rich and filling, the umami depth of the uni didn’t quite come through.
A little more successful were the popcorn shrimps.
The time it takes to walk from the shopping mall to the ski ground is only around 10 minutes but after making that journey several times already, it feels like an eternity.
We've got another two hours to burn before the end of little one's snowboard lesson.
