I still remembered the early days of COVID-19 when we used to visit Harbour City on a weekly basis but those days were over. It’s been a while since we last paid the popular shopping mall in Tsim Sha Tsui a visit so I figured we should simply have our winter solstice meal there just to get ourself re-acquainted what the “happenings” in the area.
After the meal, we walked around Harbour City looking to spend some money. As little nugget has never tried the new Hong Kong exclusive shake at Shake Shack, I thought it was time to formally introduce him to it.
Shake shack’s new Mango Bubble Shake pays homage to one of the city's most sought-after desserts, mango pomelo sago dessert (楊枝甘露). It combines Shake Shack’s own vanilla frozen custard with mango purée, coconut cream and fresh pomelo delivering a combination of refreshing flavors reminiscent of the real mango pomelo sago dessert.
