Following my epic tempura lunch, I leisurely walked towards Tokyu Plaza Ginza in search of Godiva Café Ginza where I was supposed to find a range of coffee and chocolate beverages, desserts, pastries and bread which was only available at Godiva Bakery. It took me a while to actually locate the store (I believe I went down the C2exit of Ginza Station and it was to my immediate left) but at the end, my mission was successfully accomplished.
With forays around the region including Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and even Hong Kong, Godiva's lifestyle café in Tokyo promises more surprises for the chocoholics.
As promises, there were Godiva's chocolate desserts, pastries and bakery goods.
But I was simply looking for a chocolate drink. With the freezing temperature today, a cup of hot chocolate (480 yen) would be just what the doctor ordered.
I had a choice between a "standard" and "rich" hot chocolate and guess which one I picked? Of course, it was the one with rich and deep chocolate flavors. That got me all warmed up in a hurry!
