Glacier Nivà will be my next destination and unlike its neighbours, Gelato Junkie, they have much fewer options in terms of flavors but what they do offer is some of the best ingredients from Italy including pistachio, orange and mandarin from Sicily, hazelnut and chestnut from Piedmont, citron and fig from Calabria and so on.
This is probably as elegant as it gets for an ice-cream parlour.
I've always enjoyed ice-cream (and gelato) with rich and nutty depth so their hazelnut and pistachio flavors are simply perfect for me.
If it's not for the fact that I'll be having lunch in less than an hour, I would definitely try their "Sicilian stuffed buns" with a choice of two flavors of ice-cream and whipped cream.
If you happen to have just enough time (or quota) for one ice-cream in Cannes, this is the place to do it - Glacier Nivà on Rue Félix Faure.
