Greyhound Café (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

I don't normally write about my dining experience at Greyhound Café but I thought it's seriously cool that they have just launched a new set of crepe cakes on top of their already impressive list of desserts (which included some crepe cakes including coconut and mango flavors). So let's do a quick one here.

Thai pandan custard crepe cake ($78) - This looks pretty cute with the smiley hound tuile on top. The whole thing looks attractive right from the start and although the crepe cake itself is nothing comparing to Lady M's mille crepes in terms of texture and flavor, it was reasonably good.

A small glass of aromatic Thai pandan custard sauce was served on the side so diehard fans of pandan could pour as much of this into the crepe cake as possible.

Thai coffee crepe cake ($78) - This comes with a small glass of rich Thai coffee sauce. I'm not really into coffee so I found this a little less appealing. Of course this was my Plan B anyways after our server confirmed that they ran out of the Thai milk tea flavor.

Speaking of Plan B, Greyhound Café was supposed to be our Plan B for dessert this afternoon. The original plan was to have a cup of silky hot chocolate at Angelina but were shocked to find out that their salon at Lane Crawford has already closed down.
