Brasserie Quai n°10 (Annecy, FRANCE) ★☆☆☆☆

Annecy is not a town that requires days to finish exploring but it's also not small enough for us to hit all the tourist attractions within a few hours. Less than two hours into our exploration of the picturesque town and it was slowly getting dark; we decided to call it the day but not before trying to find a venue for our late supper. At around 9:30pm, the historic town centre of Annecy was still buzzing with tourists everywhere. Every single restaurant that was still open, had a long lineup in front and even for those with the shortest lineup, including Brasserie Quai n°10, the wait was going to be close to an hour.

Finally, we got ourselves a table when everybody decided to go back home (to the hotel actually).

We're not going to be very picky tonight. I have to admit, having crêpes for dinner wasn't my idea but at this hour, we didn't really have much choice. Meet my late night snack (actually my dinner), French crêpe with egg, chicken and mushrooms. There was a small bit of béchamel sauce and cheese in there for the finishing touch.

This place was so full not too long ago and see how the crowd thinned out now after we finished our meals.

This wasn't a picture-perfect dining experience by any stretch of imagination and it's not entirely because of our long wait. The servers here weren't very professional at all. It took a while before someone came to take our orders despite seeing us signaling for service/help for the longest time. We were sitting pretty close to the kitchen so they had to see us with our hands up while they went back and forth from the dining area to the kitchen. We knew everyone was busy but I've been in the F&B business before myself and that's not how customers should be treated. And never showed a "black face" in front of your customers!
