Les Gourmandises d'Angéa (Nice, FRANCE) ★★★☆☆

There are a lot of hidden gems buried in the labyrinth of old streets near Nice's Old Town, just a matter of whether you have the time and legs to unearth them. Right before dinner, we had the chance to check out the always busy Cours Saleya in the heart of the Old Town. Then we circled around the old streets and ended up finding Les Gourmandises d'Angéa.



This is very elegant little shop selling primarily macarons and macaron ice-cream sandwiches.



Look at all those XL sized macaron ice-cream sandwiches. How could I resist?



I went with this combination of chocolate macaron and salted caramel ice-cream (4.5 Euro). Not too bad at all.....
