We all had a good night’s sleep in Osaka, our first of many nights in the city. Everyone decided to skip breakfast and sleep in knowing we had a full day ahead exploring Umeda (梅田).
Our first stop was supposedly a shabu-shabu lunch at LUCUA mall, but with about half an hour to spare before the meal, most of us including yours truly, decided to make the most of it.
After snapping a few quick photos at Osaka Station City's Square of Space-Time (時空廣場), we all took off for our own mini-adventures.

I took a quick stroll inside LUCUA 1100 and was pleasantly surprised by the number of new pop-up stores. Among them were P.G.donut, Truffle Bakery, and more — places that weren’t there just 10 months ago when we last visited the city.
I first heard about P.G.donut from their Namba Parks location.
They offer an incredible variety of doughnuts, including flavors like pistachio, tiramisu, caramel nuts, double chocolate, and there are also unique combinations like matcha tiramisu and chocolate berry.
Their best-seller is the raw custard doughnut (#1), followed by the double chocolate (#2) and pistachio (#3).
Earl Grey doughnut (440 yen) – My personal favorite here. It’s always filled with a decadently rich Earl Grey custard cream that’s among the smoothest you’ll find in all of Osaka.
The dough itself was more like a soft and buttery brioche which wasn't bad but I preferred it a little thinner (especially compared to the one I had at Jack In The Donuts yesterday, which was just perfect).
I can't believe what I managed to accomplish in just 10 minutes. Let's see if I can do a bit more damage (to my belly) before our hotpot lunch.
