OKKO Hotel Cannes Centre (Cannes, FRANCE)

OKKO is a French hotel brand praised for its blend of high functionality, sustainability, and contemporary design in compact 17 m² rooms. My first experience staying at an OKKO establishment was in Bayonne, which left a lasting impression on me.

Four years later, while searching for a place to stay in Cannes, OKKO came to mind again. But this was a very different establishment than the one in Bayonne. First and foremost, it didn't have the luxury of its own parking space making our check-in process a little challenging to say the least.

Check-in was a breeze and it didn't take long before we got our keys.

This time, we got two separate 17m² rooms. I figured it's impossible to fit the three of us in one.

Definitely not the three of us on a so-called double bed like this one.

I could finally enjoy some quietness (without little nugget) with the comfort of my own room and bed. That's priceless. 😆😆

One highlight of their incredibly clever design was the bathroom. Everything was packed inside a tiny glass-walled room.

For the limited space around here, the shower room certainly looked BIG.

I had a room very close to the elevator, and to add insult to injury, it also faced the front of the hotel. I didn’t think much of it at first, but late at night, people were seen wandering around the entrance area (given its proximity to the train station) shouting and yelling. P
erhaps They were a bit intoxicated, There were also workers from the city out picking up garbage and cleaning the streets. Overall, it felt like I was trying to sleep on the streets, even with my earplugs in.
