It's been a long trip, and everyone was raring to go home. After arriving back in Paris from Nice late, we checked into our hotel at Charles de Gaulle Airport, getting ready for tomorrow's early flight home.
We are staying at the ibis Paris CDG Airport. The hotel itself is fine, but with many tourists ending their summer vacations and flying back home, the premises were understandably crowded, making the restaurants and lobby a bit hectic.
We've ordered an extra bed (sofa bed) and it looks like I'll be the one sleeping there tonight.
The bathroom was a decent-sized one. No complaints there.
The hot water in the shower room was, well, hot.
If you're looking for a room with a view, this isn't the place. It's too far to see the runway from here.
As soon as we dropped off our luggage, we headed straight back down to the lobby for something to eat. Unfortunately, we were told by the staff at PIA Restaurant that they were pretty full tonight and the wait's going to be close to an hour. 😭😭
