Mister Donut Umeda (Osaka, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

I thought I was going to get lost in the world of underground shopping. After my short stay at The Ritz Carlton Osaka, I was going to meet up with the gang at Mister Donut but with the exponentially-increasing number of people in the underground shopping malls, it was making the maze-like underground world harder and harder to navigate. At one point, I had thoughts of going back to the hotel on my own but just when I was about to throw in the white towel, I finally located Mister Donut right next to the entrance of the Midosuji Subway Line (next to the gate).

I could see a small lineup in front of the doughnut shop, possibly for their Pokemon doughnuts.



Little nugget was so happy to share his Pikachu donuts with one of his best friends who also happened to be in Osaka for the Christmas week.

The Pikachu donuts easily the most eye-catching one from the three.

So cute! But later, little one did confess to me that it didn't taste nearly as good as the ones at Krispy Kreme.

It was getting dark and everyone was getting dead tired with the lack of sleep. I guess it's time to get back to Shinsaibashi for supper cuz this area around Osaka Station will get petty crazy in a few hours with the Christmas countdown kicking off soon.
