It’s been nearly two months since Little Nugget last saw his best friends, so Jelloman planned a fun-filled afternoon of activities for them, capped off with dinner at The Pantry Café in Metroplaza, Kwai Fong. The fourteen of us split between two tables had an amazing time together!
Buttermilk chicken salad – Dinner got off to a fast start with a delicious salad featuring grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, onsen egg, and Romaine lettuce, all drizzled with buttermilk ranch dressing.
Burrata Prosciutto – I thought we had a total of five pizza together and this was one of them with toppings of burrata cheese, prosciutto, tomato, rocket leaves and bell pepper. Pretty nice.
Tom Yum Gong risotto – A little more spicy than I originally expected.
Honeycomb caramel milkshake – A meal at The Pantry won't be complete without one of their handcrafted milkshake. This was really really sweet, and filling at the same time!
While dinner was a lovely gathering for both parents and kids alike, the main event of the day was undoubtedly the "dynamic flash grid" game played by the kids inside one of the industrial buildings in Kwai Hing. Yours truly also got into the act and was sweating it out like a dog. 🐶🐶
