Yoogane Chicken Galbi Myeongdong (Seoul, SOUTH KOREA) ★★★☆☆

Just touched down in Seoul about an hour ago and after checking into our hotel, we started picking up where we left off 4 months ago - more shopping in Myeongdong. As always, we went for a quick bite before shopping and it was Yoogane's chicken galbi getting the nod again this time.

There are 3 branches of Yoogane in Myeongdong alone and this is a different branch comparing to the one we dined at back in May.

Apart from location, we also went with a different type of chicken galbi this time around. This one featured marinated chicken galbi with octopus in Yoogne's house special spicy sauce. The four of us ordered a portion for 3 people (about ₩7,000 per person) and it's more than enough!

Opted for their ramen noodles and Korean spicy sauce (+1500 won) instead of the usual fried rice. Verdict - fried rice was way better!

This was the final product after multiple servers came in and stir fried the meat and noodles for about 10-15 minutes.

Of course we had to check out their Korean style seafood pancake (15,000) as well.

I thought the original marinated chicken galbi with fried rice was a lot better than this one with octopus. The ramen noodles were fine but a little too spicy for my liking.
