After a wonderful lunch at Jungsik, I decided to come all the way to Banpo for a number of things including a visit to the Banpo Bridge rainbow fountain. But first thing first, time to check out the Shinsegae Department Store food hall at the Express Bus Terminal for the second day in a roll.
The chiffon cakes and carrot cake at Billy Angel are some of my favorites but I am keen to find out more about their new rainbow crepe cake this afternoon.
This was very very soft and delish. The quality was definitely right up there with Lady M (comparing crepe cakes only). The seven rainbow colors represented seven unique fruit flavors but it was cantaloupe coming out on top of the rest of the flavors. It was so tasty that I actually thought about going after another slice.
Unfortunately this counter did not have all the goodies from Billy Angel Cake. Looks like I need to make a special visit to their Hongdae branch after all.
