The wait’s finally over! After seeing most of my friends take off for summer vacation, it was finally our turn to flee the city. Our destination this year? Seoul — one of my favorite cities in Asia. Even though it’s only been 10 months since our last visit, I couldn’t wait to get things started.
After the painfully long wait at the immigration counter, we were almost ready for action. But not quite yet. Since Jelloman chose not to book an airport pickup service, we ended up stuck behind a massive line for the airport shuttle for over 45 minutes.
So, I decided to use my “free” time wisely. After learning that my favorite croissants from Creme de Marron is now only available at T2 arrival hall (they reopened there after COVID). I was hoping for a worthy replacement (maybe something from OUR Bakery?). I took some time looking around the T1 arrival hall, and stumbled upon Krispy Kreme Doughnuts & Coffee at last.
Well, it was almost 3:30pm, and little nugget was already giving me the “feed me something or feed me to something” look.
So, I quickly grabbed a box of freshly made doughnuts. Turns out, everyone was way hungrier than I thought. Before I could even take out my phone for a quick photo, three of the four doughnuts were already devoured by my team. That left just one for my disposal.
Sweet chestnut (₩2,300) – This came with a traditional choco glaze which was always nice. I always love the old school stuff.
And look at that chestnut cream filling! It’s the kind of thing that would have made mom proud. But for me? Way too much sweetness packed into such a small space.
I hope our bus arrives soon cuz I have a ton of activities planned before and after dinner.
