Our quick meal at Gaga has earned us sufficient time to hang around Wongtee Plaza (皇庭廣場) before we head off to the rapid train station. While some of us peeled off for some last-minute shopping at the supermarket, I was escorted to Fufuland 生乳舒芙蕾 by little nugget.
Looks like the soufflé pancake specialist has some new creations to offer.
The girls here told me that they’ve added a new twist to some of their soufflé pancakes by blending in glutinous rice.
While little nugget immediately went for a milk soft serve with fresh strawberries.....
I decided to take a flyer on their new product, soufflé pancake with glutinous rice, whipped cream and taro purée. The texture was pretty interesting. Soft, fluffy and pleasantly chewy thanks to the addition of glutinous rice. I won't mind having this again!
