Lang's Cafe 瀾之茶居 (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★★☆

Lang's Cafe (瀾之茶居) is a place I've been meaning to visit for almost two years and I finally had the chance to scratch this itch today.

The cafe is decorated more like a charming antique shop than a typical Cantonese restaurant, with its cozy, nostalgic décor adding to the unique dining experience.

For a restaurant better known for its dim sum and stir-fried dishes, the hot milk tea (熱奶茶) turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It was stronger and more robust than expected. Rich, smooth and pretty satisfying.

My main dish was scrambled eggs with shrimp (滑蛋蝦仁) served with a bowl of steamed rice. This was so good! The scrambled eggs were really nice and runny, while the delicious shrimps were tender and cooked just right.

I didn't get the chance to try their signature baked barbecued pork buns (甘哥叉燒包) this time but there's always next time.
