Oyasumi Ice & Hotel (Osaka, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

Jelloman wanted some frosty ice-cream after we spent more than an hour at Gigo. In the past, it would have been impossible for tourists like us to locate an ice-cream shop without much knowledge of the area. But no such problem now with all the gadgets around including Google Map app. Just within a few seconds, we managed to find Oyasumi Ice & Hotel not too far away from Dotonbori.



Oyasumi is an ice-cream parlour serving a small selection of soft serve and ice-cream sundaes. There is a small dine-in area available, comfortably sitting six people or so.

Everybody wanted a soft serve and just the option between milk and matcha here (or twist cone with both).

I was able to wrestle this from little guy for a quick photo. Not bad.

This small doll will put a smile on little nugget's face during his sleep tonight. His first-ever prize on the trip and he's hoping that more would come in the next couple of days.



Oyasumi is the perfect place for a late-night dessert. It closes at 11:30pm daily.
