Everything seems to work according to our script this morning. We arrived in Kyoto shortly after 11am and we immediately headed over to Nana's green tea Shijo Muromachi (四条室町店) just below Kyoto's Pokemon Center.

On a weekday morning, things were looking pretty slow around here.
We were all looking for a quick bite before embarking on our journey to Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺). Yeah, Jelloman has been talking about returning to this world renowned Buddhist temple for a few years now. Time to grant her her wish.
I am a sucker for anything with avocado in it so this marinated wild-caught tuna and avocado with grated yam over rice was an easy choice for me. Hopefully, this will give me enough energy to get through the cold weather.
