And why Jelloman was missing from action the whole time this morning? She was away for an all-important bakery class to learn how to make this cake – a suckling pig cake! And I thought she already lost her passion for taking bakery classes.
I have to admit, it looked strikingly close to being a real suckling pig, especially with the red lowing LED lights on.
Little nugget couldn't wait to get in front of the cake so we could all take a few shots of him with the suckling pig.
I was more curious of what it was made of. The "crispy" skin looked awfully close to the real thing and it was something like glutinous rice or mochi, "painted" in red color.
There was a layer of white chocolate directly under the red skin to give the cake the shape of a suckling pig. Underneath that was a mix of fresh fruits, sponge cake and some chocolate brownies.
