Pasticceria Castelvecchio (Verona, ITALY) ★★★☆☆

Pasticceria Castelvecchio is a small bakery shop that we had the pleasure of visiting before leaving Verona. Located across the street from Castelvecchio (Italian: "Old Castle") Bridge and Castelvecchio Museum (thus the name), it's the perfect place to get a morning coffee and then some.



I was initially looking for a cup of cappuccino but got distracted by some of their pastries.



I can definitely use a couple of these for my breakfast. 



Each of us got our own "breakfast cake".

 

The cream puff and mille feuille were both good value for money (1 euro each). Mom was the one who wanted the pistachio chantilly cream puff (3.5 euro) and I thought it's alright.



Time to check out the fortified Castelvecchio Bridge and Castelvecchio Museum now...
