Aparthotel Verona House (Verona, ITALY)

I have been toying with the idea of staying at an aparthotel on this trip especially with mom and little nugget on broad and finally, I managed to pull the trigger.

My first experiment took place at our second destination of the trip, Verona with an aparthotel called Aparthotel Verona House (although it said "La Residenza Verona House" on the wall).

They have a pretty interesting property here with about 20+ rooms spread around four floors.

Despite its location just across the street from Castelvecchio, most of the rooms were actually facing Stradone Antonio Provolo, a quiet side street in a residential neighborhood. So, needless to say, it was as quiet as a church at night.

We were given an upgrade to one of their biggest apartments in the premise (Room 210 if I'm not mistaken).

There's a big living room there with a sofa bed and right next to it was a small open kitchen.

Even a dining area (which we never got to use)...!

So where's the bedroom? Well, it's hidden upstairs.

You can tell that the bedroom is very spacious judging by the fact they can fit in a second sofa bed there.

If I have to grip about something, I'd have to say it's the absence of a second bathroom. I had to wait for everybody to finish bathing before I got my turn. That was so depressing.

I think the best part about staying at Aparthotel Verona House is the fact that it's a little further from the Old Town, yet it's within walking distance to places like Piazza Bra (5 mins) and Piazza delle Erbe (10 to 15 mins). It's perfect for those who enjoy a more peaceful environment (like us).

Parking: It's not particularly easy to find a parking space in front of the hotel but there's a valet service onsite which costs 25 euro per day.

Front Desk: Like most aparthotels, there won't be any staff onsite after a certain hour (in this case, 8:30pm) but they can be contacted via the intercom at the front or directly from the hotel's phone system.
