Vanilla Gelati Italiani (Milan, ITALY) ★★★☆☆

After a long 12-hour flight, I thought everyone would much prefer to crash for a few hours before resuming action for dinner but obviously, some of us were a little hyped up being in the heart of Milan. So, we ended up heading out to explore the city instead.

We were eager to get our first taste of gelato and there's really no better place to do it than Via Pattari, the busy shopping street right besides our hotel. On our radar screen were popular gelaterias and bars like Bar Le Tre Gazzelle and Bar Madonnina but for some reason, we were feeling a little adventurous today so we went off the chart with Vanilla Gelati Italiani down a small alley.

2.8 euro is a pretty good deal for two scoops of gelato in the middle of the city but a bit of mixed bags here, with the pistachio flavor tasting pretty good while the melon flavor coming in a little too artificial.

My nugget's first taste of Italian gelato on Italian soil, and he's loving it~

I spotted their ice-cream sandwich late or else I would have got one for sure. These look really good. Perhaps even more attractive than their gelato!
