Brioche from Heaven (Bangkok, THAILAND) ★★★☆☆

After bidding goodbye to my team at Chong Nonsi station, I anxiously began my evening of culinary adventure first with a stop at Brioche from Heaven.

Helmed by pastry chef Thanunya “Gai” Wilkinson from Iron Chef Thailand, Brioche from Heaven is primarily a brioche bakery with an interior that resembles a typical Parisian café.

The bakery boasts an amazing collection of brioche buns all beautifully decorated with various toppings. Apart from their signature Brioche from Heaven, there are also the yuzu, apple, coconut, strawberry and Nutella brioche ready to be served.

Brioche from Heaven (฿180) – Getting ready for my first Brioche from Heaven from the outdoor seating in front of the bakery café!

A sticky bun covered gloriously with caramel ganache, finished off brilliantly with crispy roasted pecans on top.

Swirled within the layer of butter-packed dough is a mix of brown sugar, cinnamon, some chopped pecans and melted with a homemade syrup. It was ready to be served once they put the finishing touch on with a final glaze.

Don't call Brioche from Heaven a one-trick pony as they have other notable offerings on top of their brioche collection including these yuzu tarts, chocolate tarts and lychee cream tarts.

So happy to squeeze in my first brioche experience here before dinner. Now, let's see if I could squeeze in another afternoon tea snacks before heading off to Sühring.
