After more than a few rounds of arcade games, we agreed to take a break in action and settled our craving for food first. I decided to head down to the basement level of Injoy (卓悅匯), just a few floors down from our arcade centre to see what they have got in store for us. And the first to catch my eyes, Ke Ming Bing Shi (克茗冰室), right at the entrance point of the food hall.
For those who haven't heard of Ke Ming Bing Shi, they claimed to have hailed from Hong Kong (1978, really?) but it was only until recent times that I have spotted their footprints in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui.
Everybody is doing "little bear milk tea" in Shenzhen these days.

I really didn't need any food at this point but their steamed rice rolls with peanut butter and hoisin (sweet) sauce (混醬腸粉) looked so good on the menu.
Little nugget claimed he was starving but it was only a couple of hours since we had our dim sum lunch.
Everybody is doing fried egg and barbecued pork over rice (黯然銷魂飯) in SZ these days (not a recording) but I have to agree with little nugget that this is by far the best version of it. Much better than the one from Men Tong Bing Sutt (文通冰室) especially the BBQ pork.
Guess what they have newly on their shelf? "little bear mango pomelo sago cream" (小熊楊枝甘露)!
And of course, little one wasted no time checking it out personally. Thirst-quenching. That's the adjective he used to describe his ice-cold drink.
