Mango Tango, a mango dessert specialist used to be my go-to place for mango sticky rice at CentralWorld but after learning that they didn’t survive during COVID (They have a branch across the street at Siam Square), I knew I needed to find myself a competent replacement. And Make Me Mango emerged as a very strong candidate to replace Mango Tango as soon as I found out that they have a branch within the very same walls of CentralWorld.
Mom and little nugget decided to join me at Make Me Mango while others went shopping. They’re not going to regret this!
The mango themed café has over 50 beverages and desserts primarily made with mango.
Creamy milkshake (฿145) – I can’t believe mom decided to have a milkshake with fresh mango and vanilla ice-cream instead of mango sticky rice! Why not try something Thai!?
Mango sticky rice (฿175) – The blue color of the sticky rice came from the butterfly pea flower adding some vibrant blue hue and subtle floral notes to the mix. This wasn’t bad although the sticky rice could have been a little more on the soft side.
There goes my first mango sticky rice of this Bangkok trip and I am expecting plenty more on the next couple of days to come.
