For an area as localized and "grounded" as Tsuen Wan, one would have expected a bit more substance in its dining scene especially its selection of cha chaan tengs (local tea restaurant). But that's not the case at all. In fact, decent cha chaan tengs are far and few in between.
Boss House (波士冰室) was one of the few available offering a nice variety of dishes. It's a shame that their branch at Kolor Tsuen Wan closed down recently so I decided to venture over to its other location in Tsuen Wan.
The iced milk tea remained reasonably good and I thought the Yangzhou fried rice was pretty nice too, with some unexpectedly good "wok hei" (鑊氣).
