But we were starting to feel a little hungry since our teppanyaki lunch started early at 11:30am. Just when we were trying to figure out where to get our afternoon snack, we came across Luke's Lobster on the ground floor of PARCO Fukuoka.
It was interesting to note that Luke's have added some seafood sandwiches to their menu. The limited-time-only avocado shrimp sandwich was right up my alley as I'm an avocado freak. The lobster and crab grilled-cheese sandwiches were also very nice options if you happen to like cheesy.
But let's not kid ourselves here. After my uninspiring experience with their shrimp roll in Kobe, there was no way I would pick anything else other than their famous lobster rolls (980 yen). Not in a million years!
I don't think I would ever get tired of having their delicious lobster rolls, which came with tons of fresh lobster meat. As usual, the warm and buttery brioche worked wonderfully well with the lobster.
There was also one subtle improvement I noticed from this version - they did a much better job with the sprinkle of wasabi powder on top of these lobster rolls. The powder was noticeably dry (instead of all mushy like it was before) generating a lovely spicy kick.
After a mad scramble, I got the last piece (and last laugh LOL)!
Looks like they have solved the issue with serving their lobster rolls cold too. Mine was lukewarm which tasted so much better than the ice cold one I had in Osaka last year.
