They have a small selection of pastries and even some cupcakes.
The gourmet sandwiches look really nice but we already have dinner plans tonight.
Their bread and butter is of course their chocolate and there are a lot of different flavors here (truffles, praline, white chocolate etc.).
Raspberry Chocolate dome (CHF 4.10) - Bachmann is a well-respected chocolatier in Lucerne so I won't be doing my job if I don't try one of their chocolate cakes, right?
A small accident happened on our way back to the hotel so this wasn't looking as pretty as it was a while ago. As expected, the chocolate flavor was really deep and rich. The fact that it was a little runny (thanks to the super hot weather) made it even more delicious.
Crunchy Nut (CHF 4.00) - It consisted of two layers of hazelnut praline mousse (with bites and pieces of what I thought it was walnut!) with a small chocolate sponge sandwiched in between. This wasn't bad but definitely not as sharp as the chocolate dome.
