I'm meeting up with a colleague of mine for lunch today and with so many new restaurant openings in Wanchai these days, I already got a few ideas up my sleeves (Crust Italian, Woo Cheong Tea House, Ship Kee etc.) but before I brought those ideas up, she already got everything worked out perfectly. And it was going to be Say Hi Bar & Dining, a place I've never been to before. I love that!
Lunch got off to a very good start thanks to a really creamy sweet corn soup.
There was a small slice of garlic toast that came with the soup. Yum~!
Both of us went with the linguine tossed with tomato sauce and prawns. This wasn't bad although a little more sweetness in the tomato sauce would have been a little more pleasing to the palate.
Dessert was banana caramel, a small tartlet with fillings of banana and whipped cream. I'm not sure where the caramel was hiding.
It was a pretty enjoying meal and we had a nice chat about work, family and all those wonderful stuff. I can really sense that both of us were in very good mood knowing that the holiday season is just around the corner.
