Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Nanshan 深圳深鐵皇冠假日酒店 (Shenzhen, CHINA)

Little nugget and I arrived in Shenzhen late last night so after a quick dinner at The MixC World, we were ready to head back to our hotel. Instead of returning to Shenzhen ICON LAB Hotel of Ke Ji Yuan (深圳科技園 ICON LAB艾墾飯店) where we stayed last time, we opted to try some place new on this trip.

Directly connected to Shenzhen University station (深大站) on Subway Line 1, Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Nanshan (深圳深鐵皇冠假日酒店) is a bona fide 5-star hotel in the heart of Nanshan district which is strategically linked to a number of tourist hotspots. The MixC World and Hi-Tech Park (高新园) are only one station away.



The hotel lobby boasts a high ceiling with natural lights coming in from different angles.

Our room was nicely decorated with simple, unpretentious design. I like the double curtains and double glazed ceiling-to-floor windows ensuring that we all get a good night of sleep.

The bathroom was semi-open with a sliding door design.

Too bad we didn't have time to check out the bath tub.

On the other side of the bathroom was the shower room equipped with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

The toilet was spacious enough for a regular-sized basin and even a small counter table.

Speaking of the amount of space here, they also have a walk-in closet for the storage of luggage, a luxury that many hotels in Shenzhen simply do not possess.

We had a wonderful stay and Jelloman is already talking about returning here for our next trip to Shenzhen.
