The six of us were supposed to arrive in Osaka via bullet train at the same time this morning but Jelloman's dad had a miscue at the entry gate losing his ticket in the process. Jelloman ended up staying behind with him and boarded the next train. For me, I had the daunting task of bringing the others to our hotel in Osaka safe and sound. Fortunately, it was a hotel we were very familiar with, Hotel The LeBen Osaka.
We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel LeBen Osaka last year and the pleasant experience has enticed us to return for another stay. This is a small boutique hotel on the quiet side of Shinsaibashi (心斎橋) where Dotonbori (道頓堀), Namba and Amerika-Mura are all easily assessible by foot. The lobby is a pretty spacious one with self-serve bar for welcome drinks, tea bags, and amenities like toothbrush, comb and more.
Again we dropped a few more bucks for their spacious Superior Twin Room with two large double-sized beds.
Little nugget needed no introduction to this hotel and its neighborhood as it was only 9 months removed from his last stay.
Time to combine those two beds into one GIANT super-king bed!
This was the part of the room that we didn't really spend much time with (other than putting our luggage).
The bathroom was well appointed with enough space for more than one person.
On the left side was the toilet area with the sliding door.
On the right, there was the shower room with a large bath tub which little nugget wasted no time enjoying. 😊😊
There were other facilities in the hotel that we didn't have time for during our last stay. Take this baggage room for example.
We took advantage of this self-service baggage area to store our luggage before we left the hotel for Kansai International Airport. It's all free-of-charge of course.
We had an amazing time staying here once again. Could this mean another stay is coming up in the future? Let's find out....
