Wittamer (Osaka, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

Also inside the food hall of Takashimaya at Namba is Wittamer, a Brussels-based chocolatier that dates back to 1910. The Belgian chocolatier and pâtisserie opened their first shop in Osaka in the 1980's and has now expanded further to Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kyoto and Kobe (mostly counters at food halls) over the past decades.



Coming from its chocolatier background, Wittamer's cakes are naturally chocolate-based. I had the chance to try this chocolate mousse cake and it was quite decent. 

Different layers of chocolate mousse, of different degree of darkness coupled with fresh raspberry. A decent choice for chocolate cake lovers.
