La Pâtisserie des Rêves (Osaka, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

Our last visit to La Pâtisserie des Rêve Osaka, the "Pastry Shop of Dreams" was an unsuccessful one but our persistence finally paid off on our second visit following a fabulous lunch at Pierre

There's no reason to think that the lineup here would be any lesser than last time coz after all today is Valentine's Day.

Look at these Valentine's Day chocolate wrapped as a bouquet. What a lovely gift that was!

But I have never been a big chocolate lover to begin with so let's stick with the original plan. This was what we ended up getting - Limonta Citron (¥584).

It tasted like a huge ball of meringue surrounding small pieces of candied lemon in the middle. The texture was very light and flaky. This was quite good but a little too one-dimensional. Personally, I would like to see a slightly more complex flavor, perhaps with the addition of yuzu, something to spice things up a bit.
