When I pinged my favorite cousin on her birthday last week, we both realized that it's been a while since we last met up for a meal. So, we quickly fixed up a date and it's going to be lunch at Discovery Park, which is conveniently located just by her office. I was tasked with finding our lunch venue and I know exactly where to bring her - Chef's Stage Kitchen, one of my go-to restaurant in Tsuen Wan.
The daily soup was vegetable soup with a small salad and homemade croissant. Both of us acknowledged the fact that the soup really tasted awful.

We had the same main dish, pan-fried salmon fillet served on top of an assortment of grilled vegetables and it was a good one.
Really enjoyed the pumpkin pureé and dill cream together with the beautifully cooked salmon fillet. The flavors were a very nice match.
We still had room to share one dessert together and it was a no-brainer, the house special tiramisu. As always, it's very soft and airy with the perfect balance of mascarpone, marsala and ladyfingers. Very very nice wrap to a wonderful lunch.
I have run into my favorite cousin a couple of times in the past few years but it was really the first time we got to sit down for a meal in a while. Such is life for busy parents in Hong Kong these days.
