Tim Hortons Café and Bake Shop (Madrid, SPAIN) ★★★☆☆

I heard about our favorite Canadian coffee shop opening in Madrid late last year and there were reports about excited Spaniards lining up down the street, waiting to get their hands on Tim Hortons' signature doughnuts. But obviously, the love has cooled off a bit. 



€2.49, that's a pretty good breakfast deal for a doughnut and cup of coffee.



For us Canadians working in Hong Kong, we've been patiently waiting for our first outlet but looks like it's not going to happen. At least not anytime soon.



They don't have the wide selection we used to have back home but at least my favorite Boston Cream and Oreo are there for the picking.



Honey cruller (€1.80) and Chocolate (€1.80) - I decided to ditch my favorite Boston Cream and Oreo for these and looked like I made the right call. The Honey cruller was particularly nice. A little like our Chinese Sweet Crispies (馬仔), which was more flaky than the typical doughnut.
