Morelli's Gelato (Monte Carlo, MONACO) ★★★☆☆

I was on my way traveling from Menton to Nice when my back started acting up on me. Having been driving since early in the morning from Genoa, I thought I (and my back) deserved a little break at the glamorous Monte Carlo.

First up for me, it's the famed Café de Paris on Casino Square and no way was I going to leave here without Morelli's tasty gelato. Morelli's has been around since 1907 when Mr. Giuseppe Morelli moved to the UK from Italy. He started off selling these wonderful gelato from the back of his bike and more than a century later, a global expansion of the franchise has taken them to Asia (KL - Malaysia, Manila - Phillippines), Middle East (Kuwait, UAE - Dubai) and North America (United States - Dallas) on top of their European presence.



I'm having the usual pistachio flavor again and good to see that it's still silky smooth as before.



With my self-imposed ban from gambling, I can only check out these beautiful casinos from the outside.



I love to spend more time here but Nice is waiting......
