DAMA (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

With more and more Hongkongers getting a conscious focus on what they put into their body, healthy eating spots like DAMA is getting a new lease of life. Founded in 2016, DAMA started off as a tiny cold-press juice outlet on Gough Street but a recent transformation has turned them into a stylish vegetarian cafe at art-themed K11 Musea.

Vegan and gluten-free food is getting more popular by the day and that will be DAMA's primary focus - vegan food that utilizes the freshest ingredients from the market.

While their soup, salad and wrap are drawing considerable attention, DAMA's vegan ice-cream has been the most irresistible lure for foodies from all over Hong Kong. And it's also quickly becoming the most instagrammable dessert at K11 Musea these days.

Their purple-colored dragon fruit sorbet has been the talk of the town in recent weeks. We got the chance to check it out after dinner at Chatterbox Café. The dragon fruit flavor combined so well with the charcoal and coconut. Very refreshing.

It was a surprisingly quiet night on Mid Autumn Festival. I guess everyone preferred staying home during this recent political situation.
