I can smell love in the air today.....
For those of us who are a little more subtle, sending roses to our love ones on Valentine's Day doesn't really suit our style. Luckily, Patisserie STRESSED (Try reading STRESSED backward) got the perfect gift for us this year.
Located on the first floor of InterContinental Hotel Osaka, Patisserie STRESSED is a dessert café under the watchful eyes of German-born Executive Chef Tobias Gensheimer. I decided to drop by for a quick bite after an earlier lunch at Pierre upstairs.

Patisserie STRESSED serves an array of delicious cakes, chocolates, macarons, bakery items and beverages including some from the famous TWG Tea brand.
That's the perfect Valentine's Day gift!
I've really enjoyed it very much.
The Hyuganatsu and TWG Vanilla Tea Bavarois was another delectable creation by the team. It has excellent texture and the perfect blend of flavors.
During our visit, the pastry shop was promoting some of Chef Gensheimer's latest creations including two contemporary chocolate cakes transformed from the European classic black forest cake. The first one was called "for MEN" (dark chocolate with liqueur) while the other called "for WOMEN" (mild chocolate with sweet and sour cherry).
From our experience in the brief 3-day stay in Osaka, Patisserie STRESSED has the best French pastries in the city hands down (so far). Let's see if there's another patisserie who can prove me wrong.
