Un Petit Paquet (Tokyo, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

Isetan Shinjuku is hosting a pop-up store for Patisserie Francaise Un Petit Paquet during our stay in Tokyo. Un Petit Paquet is a French patisserie that yields from the town of Misuzugaoka near Yokohama city. Chef-owner Oikawa Taihei (及川太平) spent 3 years in Alsace France to study the art of French pastry making and had since won a number of competitions since returning to Japan.

There are more than a dozen choices here. Which one should we try?

The pistachio mousse cake with raspberry compote and cream (¥465) turned out to be a fairly decent pick.
