Pierre Hermé (Tokyo, JAPAN) ★★★★☆

Last month in Paris, we missed out on Pierre Hermé's Infiniment Vanilla tart in favor of their Miss Gla'Gla. This time around in Tokyo, we are not going to make the same mistake twice.



There are a number of Pierre Hermé boutiques in Tokyo and we picked this one inside the Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku.

Finally we managed to lay our hands on one of these Infiniment Vanilla (Intensely Vanilla) tarts. 

I love that crunchy shortbread crust to go with the intensely rich and dense filling of white chocolate ganache, vanilla and mascarpone cream. That was so mouthwatering!
