My neighborhood food scene is getting more and more exciting these days! After welcoming a number of new additions last month, Madrid Sizzling Steak (鐵板世家 馬得里) became the latest to soft open in the proximity.
According to the signage, Madrid Sizzling Steak appears to be a seasoned player in the industry, boasting a starting year of 2003 but frankly speaking, I have never really heard of them.

Iced milk tea – The tea was neither particularly strong nor fragrant, but there was enough balance between the amount of milk and tea. Not bad.
Instant noodles with egg and chicken steak – This left me a little hesitant to come back for a second time.
The noodles were a little overcooked and the chicken steak wasn't executed as well as I would expect from a steak specialist. This was very local, cha chaan teng style without much finesse (perhaps marinated the chicken with herbs, rosemary etc.?).
Of course, I must take some responsibility for not ordering a breakfast steak at a veteran steakhouse. If I was looking for this kind of instant noodles for breakfast, perhaps I should look otherwise.
