It's going to be a long night for me. My beloved Ipswich Town FC is playing their last game of the year with a chance to clinch automatic promotion to the Premiership. That will be back-to-back promotions for them if they're successful tonight! To make sure that I survive through the night, I have brought out my food delivery app and ordered some sweets for myself.
Sum Sum Desserts (深深甜品) is a Chinese dessert soup specialist in Sham Shui Po who has been mentioned in the Michelin Guide. I thought I couldn't go wrong with desserts highly praised by foreigners.
Black Sesame Soup (芝麻糊) – The sweet and nutty black sesame soup was pretty thick which was the texture I liked but it could be even more nutty (or grainy).
Look at the oversized tong yuen (湯圓). It came with two of those and as soon as I put the first one into my mouth, the fillings of black sesame paste immediately exposed!

Almond tea with egg white (蛋白杏仁茶) – Jelloman had the almond tea as usual. I thought the egg white made it a little less boring.
Both dessert soups weren't bad but I liked the ones from Tei Mou Koon Dessert (地茂館甜品) a little more, especially the almond tea.
