Little nugget has been looking forward to this day since we bought our tickets to Osaka months ago. He can finally touch his favorite characters from the Mario Brothers game today! Hoorah!!!
It's my first-ever Universal Studios experience in Asia. My other visit to Universal Studios had to date back to my high school days when we stopped by the San Francisco one after our trip to Vegas. That was a long long time ago.

This is a really BIG theme park. Little one was obviously all pumped up!

Before the Batman ride, we got our ticket to Finnegan's Bar & Grill from across the street so after the hour-long wait, we figured our table should be close to being ready and it was! Yeah, I was really starving!
Finnegan's Bar & Grill is retro Irish pub with its own beer hall and restaurant right next to it serving western-style food.
All the sets came with a small bowl of potato and leek soup.
I ordered a classic Caesar salad with chicken fillet to go with my soup.
Everybody except yours truly had the seafood en croûte with the flavorful broth and seafood all hidden underneath this pastry. But I stayed away from this cuz it's really just another soup, albeit with seafood in it.
Little nugget had the mini-burgers from the kid's menu. This wasn't bad.
He's so happy to be finally getting his feet wet at the theme park.

I had the roasted chicken with rosemary. The chicken was pretty tender and the gravy provided more than enough flavors to back things up.
This guy simply refused to leave and who could blame him. It's a rare opportunity to travel during the pandemic.
