Myung Ga Korean Restaurant World Trade Centre (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

We have another birthday to celebrate today and while we were already in Causeway Bay for little nugget's rugby class, it was an easy decision to simply grab something easy near SOGO (since we will be doing some grocery shopping there).

Hats off to the good guys at Myung Ga World Trade Centre for offering us this private room with a very very nice view.

Perfect weather~

Grilled beef short rib with BBQ sauce - It was Jelloman's idea to have Korean BBQ so ordering grilled beef to start off the meal was really a no-brainer. This, I thought, was just OK. The beef was a little rubbery but no one seemed to be complaining.

Braised beef short rib in sweet soy sauce - The one and only dish I will order here and it again didn't disappoint. But I did notice the diminishing portion. It used to be almost twice the size of this a few years ago but I guess the inflation is finally catching up to us.

Sizzling stone pot rice with chicken - Not the best presentation but it tasted exactly like what it's supposed to. No surprise there.

Soup noodle with seafood - Something for little guy.

It was a pretty decent meal but I wasn't sure if it was good enough to celebrate someone's birthday. I did notice that the food quality at Myung Ga's Tsim Sha Tsui branch seems to be more consistent than this branch at World Trade Centre. Or maybe just an off day from the kitchen?
