For months, I've been waiting for the grand opening of Bakehouse's new outpost in Tsim Sha Tsui. Just after getting my haircut last week, I ventured a short walk over but no cigar.
Today at last, they're open for business!
There are a few things I absolutely love from Bakehouse, their sourdough egg tart, vanilla doughnut and peanut butter cookie.
I thought the egg tart was again very very delicious today.
The buttery and flaky crust works absolute magic with the creamy, pudding-like egg custard. It's almost like having creme brulee.
The vanilla cream doughnut was packed with vanilla custard cream as usual. Very decadent and one of little nugget's favorite.
It's nice to finally get a Bakehouse on the Kowloon side so we don't have to venture over to the island side for Chef Michaud's best sellers. And there are many of them...
